Q. I'm considering taking a trip with my girlfriend (in fact, as a possible honeymoon) to the United Kingdom. We don't have a WHOLE lot of money and flying into London is expensive. Can you suggest some cheaper airports to fly into maybe no more than a few hours away in which we could take a train into London? Can you offer any other travel advice? A flight from NY to London is about $225 one way but that's excluding taxes and fees. Just for the heck of it I did a sample itinerary and it would be $1250 for 2 people round trip. That's pretty good - when my husband and I went to London over the summer we paid $1572.

Q. I paid off my house I received the deeds this morning but there is something wrong with them. My house was built in 1839 and the deeds is a photocopy of the original, on the photocopy it say "the original is kept at archive at the council". How do I get the original deeds back, I live in the United Kingdom ? Plus do this sound normal to you ? .Why would the council have my original deeds?

How can I copy a VHS movie from the United Kingdom to a VHS or DVD that plays on American VHS or DVD player?
Q. I bought a VHS video and did not realize it would be different coming from the United Kingdom. Does anybody know where I can have it transfered to an american VHS or DVD? It is very important to me. I asked this question before but the suggestions didn't work. I live in Georgia but can mail it somewhere else if needed. Thank you so much.

A. Well, you've got two questions there. Firstly, VHS. Take it to a video shop, somebody ought to have the equipment to exchange the PAL/NTSC formats. Or buy a dual format video (many video players already play both PAL and NTSC, though you might need to flick a switch). Secondly, DVD. There is no format difference between US and UK. However, many DVDs - especially movies - contain a region encoding. In this case you should buy a multi-region DVD player (there are loads of these about as well).
